Memorial Day Weekend

On Friday, we got packed up and loaded and headed to Island Park for the annual Hill Family Reunion. The weather was not looking very promising, so I was very glad that we had a cabin to stay in.

Saturday was a pretty nice day. We played Minute to Win It and had a lot of fun with that. Then we played games and gave the little girls pedicures. It was fun. Saturday night we had our dutch oven cook off and I made a yummy Rocky Road Cake. The food was so yummy and the weather was pretty good for us.

Sunday we woke up and it started snowing and it snowed most of the morning. We had some fun kids crafts and then we played more games. Sunday night we did our annual chicken fry and scones and dutch oven cobblers. The weather didn't cooperate with us to well, so the cobblers didn't turn out as good as they normally do, but they were still good.

Monday morning we cleaned up and headed home. I was really glad to get home and I am glad that we get to stay put for awhile.
