The Girls new Favorite

Well, Saturday was a big day in our household. We went bed shopping. We have to move Kayla into a bigger bed and put her and Paige in the same room. So the final decision was to get bunk beds. The girls absolutely love them. They want to play in their room all of the time now, just so they can play on their bunk beds.

I also had some requests from friends and family wanting to see how big I am getting. Let's just say I grow bigger each day. I already feel like I am going to pop and I am extremely uncomfortable. I guess it will only get worse from here on out, so I better not complain. Anyways, here you go. Happy viewing.

What month is it?

Well I thought it was April, but from the looks of our weather today, you would have thought it was January. I really am not sure if we will ever get rid of this yucky weather. One thing about it, the kids enjoyed going out and making another snowman. Hopefully it will be the last one of the winter.

Cute Reminder

Every day Kayla does the cutest thing. She will come up to me and hold up three fingers (which she just learned how to do) and ask me "Are we having this many boy babies?" My daily reply is "YES." She is so darn cute I just can't get enough of her.

I had another appointment today. Things went well. They measured all of the babies yet again and the two identical babies are measuring at 16 weeks, 2 days and the other baby is measuring in at 17 weeks. They all weigh about 6 oz., so they (along with me) are gaining weight regularly.

Things in Idaho continue to be winterlike. I don't know if we will see any other season this year. It was back down to 24 degrees when I put Paige on the bus this morning. I think we all have cabin fever, because the girls are daily asking me if they can put on their flip flops and go outside to play. One day, hopefully soon, we will hit the sixties at least, so it will start feeling like summer.

Ultrasounds

These are the ultrasound we had done last Monday, on the 7. The first picture shows the two identical twins. They are tummy to tummy at the moment, but they said they won't stay in those positions. The second picture shows the single baby.

I guess I should explain. The two identical twins are in the same outer sack, but they have their own inner sacks, so their umbilical chords won't get twisted. The other baby is all alone in his own
sack and he will be a fraternal twin.
When these pictures were taken, all three of the babies measured 15 weeks and 2 days. So they are right on schedule at this point. I will have an ultrasound done every two weeks, so we will be able to follow their progress carefully.

And we are adding?...................

I thought I would create a blog for our family, so I can keep everyone updated on our current life adventures. As most of you know, we are expecting triplets sometime in August, so I figured this would be the easiest way to send updates. We just found out yesterday that we are having.....................Drum Roll please.......................3 BOYS! Matt is extremely excited, but Paige is a tad bit disappointed. She really wanted a girl out of all of this. (At least she has Kayla) We are getting really excited. I have a lot of work to do before their arrival, but it will get done eventually.
