Stockings

When you add babies to your family, at Christmas time you must also add stockings. I realized that this year I had to make 3 stockings. So, thanks to the help of my mom (I don't own a sewing machine) we were able to make these cute stockings to add to our collection.

Paige lost tooth number 3 the other night. She has been wiggling it for several days and finally the other night she wiggled it so much it just fell out. She was so excited. Her other top tooth is loose and she really wants to lose it before Christmas so she can sing the song "All I Want For Christmas Are My Two Front Teeth."

I am having a battle with Kayla lately. All she wants to do it watch tv. She cries about it all the time. We battled over it yesterday and we are going at it again today. Here is a picture of my poor picked on kid because her mother won't let her watch a show. (Am I mean or what!)

Thanksgiving

Well, Thanksgiving has come and gone and I can't believe Christmas is just around the corner. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We went up to my Mom and Dad's and had a nice dinner and spent some time at their house. Then on Friday morning I hit quite a few of the early morning sales. I don't know what possessed me to do so, but I am a sucker for a good bargain. This weekend Matt's mom, Brother and my Sister-in-Law, Pat and Jen and Josh came up. It was so fun to hang out with them and play games and visit. We had a fun weekend and it went way to fast.

I was thinking how much I am thankful for this year. I am most thankful for my wonderful family, especially the blessing of my 3 healthy little boys. They are to greatest blessing in my life. I don't know what I would do without my wonderful friends and family and all that they do for me. Happy (late) Thanksgiving to all.

Shots

Sorry it has been awhile. I always have good intentions of posting, but then something comes up. It is usually a baby needing fed, held, changed or some other baby thing. Anyways, the boys are all doing so good. Finally this week we are back on the eating every 4 hours schedule. While they were sick we ate every 3 hours and that was awful. I felt like that was all I did. With the 4 hour schedule I feel like I have at least an hour to myself.

We took the boys in today for their second round of immunizations. The doctor said they all look so good and he is amazed at how good they are doing. They also got weighed and I think that was what I was most looking forward to. They are all getting so big. Aiden weighs 11 lbs. 6 1/2 oz. and is 21 1/2" long. Brock weighs 9 lbs. 12 1/2 oz. and is 20 1/2" long. Last but not least, Collin weighs 10 lbs. 15 oz. and is 20 1/2 " long. Brock is trailing but he is starting to do a lot better on his eating. Hopefully he can start gaining on the other two.

This last weekend the girls went out and played while Matt mowed up all of the leaves. I thought it would be the last decent day we would have, but mother nature has been so nice to us this week. The last few days have been gorgeous. With weather in the 50's I am not looking forward to the snow that is forecasted for tomorrow and the rest of the weekend.

Paige practicing her jump roping skills. She loves to jump, she must take after her mom.

Kayla can't get enough of her swing. Good thing she enjoyed it this summer, because next summer I know 3 little boys who will be using her swing.

Sunset on Saturday. It was to gorgeous to pass up. Can I just say, I love living in Idaho.

All Smiles

I am not very good at posting lately. Life is just a little crazy at our house. The boys still have their colds. Now the cough has moved to Brock. I am hoping once he finishes, no one else will get it. They all had their turn, so I am hoping it doesn't cycle through them again. On Sunday night Paige had the stomach flu. No one else has gotten it, so I hope we can stay away from that. That is all we need around here.

The boys are really starting to recognize our voices and we are starting to see smiles quite often. Mostly from Aiden and Collin, we are still working on Brock. Here are some pics of their darling smiles.

Tuesday Matt had the day off for Veteran's Day. We went to Idaho Falls, while my mom watched all of the kids. (Thanks Mom) We were able to pretty much finish our Christmas shopping for the kids. I have just a few little things left to get, but I am pretty much done. Yeah!!!!!!! Let's just hope the kids don't change their minds of what they want, because I really don't want to return anything. I can't believe Thanksgiving and Christmas are just around the corner.

Winter

This week has gone pretty good. I am anxious for Matt to get back from Las Vegas tomorrow night. Thanks to my mom for coming and staying every night with me while he has been gone. It is to hard to fly solo at night.

I believe winter is here. We had our first snow on Monday, and it is pretty dang cold. The girls were so excited that there was snow (even if it was only a skiff) that they went out and built a miniture snowman. It was cute and they had fun, so what more could you ask for.

I took Collin to the doctor today. His cough is awful and is not getting better. I got a prescription for him and we have to do the nebulizer every 4 hours. Hopefully over the next couple of days he will start to get better. They weighed him today and he is up to 9 lbs. 15 oz. I can't believe how big they are all getting. They are really alert lately and they are starting to respond with little smiles and smirks when you talk to them. They are just so cute.

Happy Birthday Matt

Today is Matt's 31st Birthday. Happy Birthday to my best friend, husband, dad and friend. He is the greatest husband in the whole world. He is a hardworker and a wonderful example to me and the kids. Although he isn't home much, when he is, he is always willing to help me and take care of the kids. We love you Matt and hope you have a great birthday. Have fun in Vegas.

Halloween

What a week. You are all probably wondering if I fell off of the planet. I am still hanging in here. All three boys have had colds all last week and they are still hanging on. Aiden and Collin also have awful coughs. I finally decided to call the doctor again on Friday to see if there was anything else I could do for them besides dropping saline in their noses and running the humidifier. He decided to send us up to the hospital for RSV tests. I called this morning and I am still waiting for the results. Aiden had lost his voice last week, so it was so sad when he cried. Collin half the time can't figure out how to cough, so he just kind of dry heaves. Brock has gotten the better end of the cold, with just a stuffy nose and a lot of phlem. I have had to decrease their feedings to every three hours, because I can't feed them as much or they spew everywhere. They are getting better, but just not fast enough.

Halloween was fun this year. Paige was a witch and Kayla was Cinderella. Aiden was our cute little kitty cat, Brock was our little pumpkin and Collin was a ghost. I took the girls out door to door and Matt stayed home with the boys and to pass candy out. We had fun and look forward to next halloween when we can all go trick or treating together.

The boys looking really enthused about the whole Halloween thing.
