Journey to the Temple

This last weekend the kids and I were able to attend our Primary Journey to the Temple Activity.  All summer we have given the kids assignments to work on to help them learn more about  the temples.  Each time they completed an activity they got to put a sticker on the map to help us get to the temple.  They had so much fun doing this and then we got to have our activity at the temple.  They were able to go inside in the waiting room area and walk into the baptismal font area.  They loved it and it was a neat experience for them to have.

Here is a fun picture of me and the kids at the activity.

1st Day of Preschool

The day finally arrived.  The boys were able to start Preschool.  I don't know who was more excited, them or me.  They get to go twice a week and they are all in the same class.  They love it.  They get to play on the toys, have snacks, color, play and just have fun.  I am so glad that they have something for them to do to keep them busy.  We can hardly wait for Kindergarten next year.

Kayla's Baptism

Over Labor Day weekend Kayla was baptized. It was a wonderful day that she was able to share with lots of family. She looked so cute and it was so fun to watch her celebrate her baptism. After the baptism we had a lunch at our house and then we went to Rexburg Rapids for a final swim of the season.  Lots of fun with lots of family, and a very memorable weekend.

First day of School

It is crazy to think that the summer has already come and gone. We were so busy this summer that the time just flew by. We were all ready to get back on a schedule and hit the books again. The girls love school and were anxious for the last couple of weeks of summer to pass. Paige is a big 6th grader this year and Kayla is in 3rd. They grow up so fast.

Mesa Falls

A few days before school started, my mom and I took the kids for one last hurrah before school started. We took them up to Mesa Falls. We were able to have a picnic, see the gorgeous falls, feed the duck and fish and just enjoy the beautiful outdoors that are so close to us. It was a lot of fun and we got some fun pictures.

Logan

Last weekend the kids and I headed to Logan to see my sister. I took the kids up to the Logan Temple. They had never seen it, so they loved it. Matt had gone with the youth to Youth Conference and the girls and I met up with him at the Martin Harris Pageant in Clarksdale. My sister was nice to keep the boys and take them to the park. We had fun. Saturday we took the kids to the zoo in Logan. It was small but just right. We had fun just hanging out and the kids loved being at Aunt Liz's house. We had a fun weekend.

High School get together

It was so fun to get together with some of my good friends from High School. We just ate, talked, took a tour of the new High School and went to the Playmill. We had such a fun time and we stayed up way to late, but it was so fun to catch up. I have some of the greatest friends and it is crazy to think that we have stayed in touch with one another. Thanks girls for a fun weekend.
