12 years

Tomorrow Matt and I will celebrate our 12th Anniversary. I can't believe how fast the time has flown. We are extremely lucky to have the best 5 kids in the world. They are everything to us. I am very lucky to be married to my best friend. Thanks Matt for a wonderful 12 years.

Picnic at School

Last Friday at the girls school it was a Parent's Appreciation lunch. Both Matt and I got to go eat lunch with the girls. It was fun to see them with their friends and just to spend time with them. I am glad that they both like to involve us in their school activities. I am sure the day will come when they would rather not invite us. It was a nice day and we enjoyed eating outside with all the other kids and parents. I am not really looking forward to summer vacation. It is hard to believe that they only have 4 weeks left of school.

Easter Weekend

We had a fun Easter weekend. The girls have been out of school for Spring Break so we were hoping for some nice weather to be outside in, but instead got this on Friday.

Not my idea of Spring, but we had to deal with it. Saturday the kids woke up and found the Easter Bunny had already brought their baskets. (The Easter Bunny has always come to our house on Saturday) They were all so excited with their loot. The girls got an outfit and a little candy and a few knick knacks. The boys got cars color books and markers, and a car and some candy. They were all so excited.

We took the kids to lunch at McDonald's and they devoured it so they could play on the toys. We also colored eggs and then the snow had melted enough that we had an Easter Egg hunt outside. Once again more candy and lots of hyper kids.

Sunday we got up bright and early for church and were ready early enough that I was able to get a few pictures of the kids before church. They all looked so cute.

We had a fun Easter weekend and are enjoying our last day of Spring Break. The weather is nice today, so we are going to get some outside time. It is making us really excited for the nicer weather to stay.
