Homeless

I am feeling really homeless this week. We got our new floor put in on Monday and Tuesday, so I had to bring the boys up to my mom's during the day. We went home at night and just have been roughing it. This morning I moved up to my Mom's for the next 2 or 3 days while they sand and finish our floor. I can hardly wait for all of this to be over with.

On top of being homeless, I have had 4 sick kids all week. Kayla and the boys have had fevers, awful coughs and snotty and congested noses. It has not been a fun week at all. I can hardly wait to get them all feeling better. There just isn't enough time to do all the medicine and nebulizer treatments.

Paige has been awful about going back to school. After being sick a couple days last week and the week before, she has become awfully attached to me and the idea of being home all day with me. She has cried every morning when it is time to go and on Monday I had to take her and walk her in to her classroom. Yesterday she went late to school because she was having another moment. This morning we made a little progress because Matt took her and he had to walk her into her class, but he said she was alright. I think she has a serious case of "Mommy Separation Anxiety." With her emotional problems and my sick kids and a torn up house I am feeling really frazzled lately. I can hardly wait until Monday when they come and put in the new cabinets. Tuesday we can start returning to normal again. Yeah!!!!!!!

Murmur Free

Yesterday Matt and I took Aiden down for his Cardiology appointment. They did an EKG on him and we found out that his murmur is gone. Yeah!!! We don't have to have any more Cardiology appointments. He was so good. They hooked all the chords up to him and he kept grabbing onto them and pulling them off. He was really cute. It was nice to just have one baby. I ran a few errands in Idaho Falls and Aiden went with me. Those days of shopping with one baby are very few and far between.

The last week has been rather crazy. The boys all got snotty noses. Luckily no coughs or anything, just the stuffies and the snot. Paige stayed home from school last Thursday and Frisday. Finally on Saturday when she still complained about not feeling good, I took her to the doctor. The result of that trip was strep throat. So she is finally feeling better with the meds she is taking. Just when I thought everyone was getting better, Kayla got a cough and fever today. I am not enjoying all of these sick days.

On top of all that, my kitchen is totally torn up and a mess. We are getting closer to the end of project kitchen. This week they came and patched all the new sheet rock Matt put up and then textured it. Tonight Matt will start doing the painting. When that is all done he will rip all the carpet out and finish taking everything in my kitchen out so it is ready Monday morning for the floor guys. It will take next week for the floor and then by the next Monday or Tuesday, I will get my cabinets and my kitchen will be done and put back together. It's been awful living out of boxes and a torn up kitchen, but I can hardly wait. This next week will be the worse when I won't even have anything to use. Could thing there are a lot of fast food joints in town, so we have somewhere to eat.

7 Months

Another milestone has been reached at our house today. The boys are officially 7 months old. I can't believe that they are that old. The time really has gone by so fast.

Aiden is such a cute little chub. He he pretty mellow and just likes to look around and watch what his brothers do. He has rolled over a few times, but he is just content to watch Brock and Collin do all the rolling.

Aiden then and now.............

Brock is such a smiley little guy. He is being a really bad eater lately and I have to really work with him to take his bottle. He rarely finishes it and then he is starving 2 hours later. I am beginning to get frustrated with the little squirt. Aiden and Collin continue to chunck out and Brock is kind of my skinny minnie. He is rolling now and he absolutely hates it when he gets over onto his tummy. He likes to be held alot more than the other two, so he spends alot of time in the swing.

Brock then and now......

Collin is such a good natured and patient little guy. He is the calmest of the three. He rolls constantly and loves to look up and around after he gets onto his tummy. He is such a happy kid.

Collin then and now.........

All three of them are starting to really make noises and talk and they all lay there and just talk to one another. It is so cute to watch the three of them together. It is amazing how far they have come and the progress they have made thus far. We are very blessed to have such healthy kids and I wouldn't trade a moment of the last 7 months for anything.

Church

I can hardly believe that this is my 100th post. So much has happened in 100 posts. Today was the big day. We finally took the boys to church. I wasn't quite sure how it would all work, but they did really well. Chruch happens to be in the middle of nap time, so we lucked out. We fed them right before we left and they made it through Relief Society and Sunday School before waking up. Thanks to my wonderful neighbors (Lesa and Linzy) we survived.

Aiden, Brock and Collin all ready in their church clothes.

This weekend has been demo weekend. My kitchen is pretty much torn up. All day Saturday we couldn't even get into the kitchen. Matt ripped all of the upper cabinets and the fir downs down. Then he had to put sheet rock up and we had someone come and start on the electrical work. Hopefully this week we can get the door moved, the texturing done on the ceiling and all the patch work done. Then painting, flooring and the day of the new kitchen will arrive. I can hardly wait. It will be so nice. I am so thankful that Matt loves demoing stuff. He is also really handy building, fixing and putting things together. We sure save a lot of money by him doing most of the work.

The boys are all rolling over now. Brock rolled for the first time on Wednesday and Aiden finally joined the group on Friday. It is so funny to watch them once they get over. They just sit there with their arms underneath them and lift their head up and look around.

Kayla continues to be a handful. She is so defiant. I tell her something and she just looks at me and says no, or completely ignores me and does her own thing. When she falls down the stairs, which happened this week, I ran to see if she was ok and she said "Don't look at me." She just wants to be left alone and not fussed over. Somedays I just don't know what to do with her. I am so glad that Paige is usually pretty good. We do have moments, but we are getting there. I just keep telling myself, "Tomorrow Is Another Day."

Rolling

Well Collin was the first to finally roll over. Friday night I had just gotten all of the boys changed and next thing I knew Collin had rolled over. He hates when he gets over though, because he can't figure out what to do next. Also, the last few days Brock has figured out his mouth makes really cool noises. He spits and makes bubbles. He is so cute when he does it because he loves the sounds. Aiden is just so relaxed and chill that he just enjoys the noises and action from Brock and Collin. One thing Aiden does love is to watch the T.V. If it is on, he scoots and turns until he can see it and he just is in a trance. It is so fun to watch what each of them does and to see their differences.

Collin rolling over.

We are doing some remodeling at our house and Matt used Saturday to really start demoing. I hate all the dust and mess it makes but the end result will really be worth it. For starters he chiseled all the thick texturing off the wall as you come in and into our dining room. Then he cut the side wall down in my pantry and started getting things ready to move the door. We are moving the door over in the kitchen in hopes that in a few years we will be able to add a mud room on. For now we are expanding out onto the deck area where we will put a new dining room and then we are getting a new floor and all new cabinets in our kitchen. It will be so nice when this is all over with, but change is much needed since we won't be able to fit a big enough table in the space we have now to fit all 7 of us.
